A relaxing and elegant place. The setting is peacefull and well maintained The spacious rooms with big balcony, may require some upgrading. Plenty of bottled water added every morning. We appreciated the courtesy and kindness of all the staff. A special thanks to Rafik who accompanied us to Ellora and Ajanta. He is an attentive and prudent driver and has always behaved professionally and discreetly but with a friendly and patient attitude.

Thr booking screen of Booking.com takes one request but booking confirmation from Hotel is completely different. Had it not been the helpful staff at Taj and my prior experience with such situations, wherein I shared the actual screenshots of the error in Booking.com platform, my complete stay would have been ruined. Happy to share more details, if you guys are interested but I owe to the staff at hotel for their courtesy and generosity for resolving the situation.

I liked the food, the courtesy of the staff across check-in, housekeeping, chef, servers. They are trained exceptionally well. They are mindful of the guests' needs. I told the staff that I have traveled to quite a few places and stayed at similar properties. However, the experience at Vivanta, By Taj was outstanding.

Breakfast spread was excellent. Dinner buffet was superb too. All items were changed to suit different palates. Staff was superb and courteous and very helpful. Rooms were well ventilated and quite large. Biggest surprise was the swimming pool. Length was 25 meters but width was also very long. Lovely to swim. All staff was superb . Special mention must be made of Sainath, the Chef, Ambadas, Vikram and Sheetal in restaurant where we spent maximum time for two tasty meals. All in all a wonderful experience.

Everyone this property is very nice and gives you a comfortable and a secure feeling. Special mention on Razik who was assigned to drive me to Ajantha caves. He took really good care of us and even helped us in finding good places to shop. The staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful and the property is very serene and would recommend any day for people to stay .

The room was spacious and had all the necessary features to make for a comfortable stay. However, the most outstanding feature was the friendly, helpful and cheerful staff. chef Sainath and his team were particularly superb - the food was excellent and he went out of his way to make each meal memorable

Food and service at the restaurant was very good! The Maharashtrian meals prepared so thoughtfully for us were excellent! The car and driver provided for our trips to Ajanta & Ellora were very good. Our driver was extremely friendly, respectfully and ver yknowledgeable about local facts that he pointed out as we drove.

Charming 20th century heritage architecture and ambiance. Gracious service at the front desk, in the restaurants and at breakfast…they efficiently arranged a hotel car to the airport on very short notice when my taxi didn’t show up. My room was spotlessly clean, and the friendly housekeeping staff came by in late afternoon each day to tidy up. Hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens, and the swimming pool is gorgeous and pristine. Traditional dancing is performed nightly at the outdoor barbecue. This is a very comfortable hotel.

We really liked our stay at Vivanta! The staff was extremely caring. At the latitude chef Sainath, shital, shishpal and baghwat made sure we got everything we needed. Housekeeping was also exceptional and took care of every inquiry (especially a gentleman called Vivaji (?)). We took a car to Ellora with driver Razeeq who also made sure we got the most out of our trip! Thank you to all the staff, we hope to come again!

Hotel has very serene and peaceful surroundings. It gives an impression of living in a forest. Very spacious rooms. As such,the entire hotel is very old & traditional. I was told that the property is 30 ysars old. I guess, it has never been renovated as the decor and furniture of room gives a geel of living in an old haveli.. As such, everything is well maintained. Property is old & traditional but not run down or wornout. Actually this hotel is meant for vacationers and travellers to famous Ajanta Ellora caves. The hotel gives an impression of staying in a heritage property, which syncs with Caves, which are 2500 years old.It is not meant for business travellers.
